Utility Plan

• Establish a carbon dioxide emissions cap and reduction plan for existing utility emissions.
• Achieve carbon neutrality for any new electricity generation through greenhouse gas emission reduction technologies, carbon capture and storage, and mitigation measures.
• Achieve 700 megawatts of energy savings, equivalent to an average sized power plant, through increased energy efficiency and conservation by 2020.
• Meet 30% of all energy needs with renewable resources, including 100 megawatts of solar power, by 2020.
